Welcome to my electronic portfolio
My name is Kevin Anderson and I am currently working as a teacher of physical and health disabilities for the Moorhead Public Schools, in Moorhead, MN. I also teach in higher education part-time and serve as an Adjunct Professor of Special Education at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
I have a special interest in the area of physical and multiple disabilities. I believe that students who have these types of disabilities have much to offer. Their disabilities only become handicapping when we are not able to provide appropriate adaptations or accommodations to allow equal access to school and community activities. With the proper support and belief in their abilities, students with physical and multiple disabilities can overcome the "mountains" of barriers and become productive members of society.
